If the specified temperature does not correspond to the mode, then the machine simply does not heat the water. All data is indicated in the instructions, so you need to read it very carefully.

If the selected temperature and mode correspond to each other, and the unit must heat the water, then you should check whether it really does not. Some people think that cool laundry at the end of the wash is a signal of the device refusing to heat the water, but this is not the case. The fact is that rinsing, which is performed by the machine after the washing itself, occurs only in cold water, therefore the laundry can be cold.

Whether the washing machine really does not heat the water properly can be found out as follows:

  • Start washing at a temperature of about 60 degrees (this is enough, although you can choose any other mode with warm water).
  • After 20-30 minutes, touch the drum glass with your hand.
  • If the glass is still cold, then the water in the washing machine is really not heating up.

It should be noted that you need to touch the glass very carefully, you can burn yourself with heated glass.

If the problem of the lack of water heating during washing exists, then the next step is to find the location of the fault.

Possible locations for the problem

Some machines, especially models with automatic self-diagnosis, if they do not heat the water, then immediately refuse to work. While their more responsible brothers continue to perform their main function. to wash clothes, however, already in cold water.

If a machine that does not heat water still continues to wash, this does not mean at all that the problem should not be solved.

  • Failure in the sensor that monitors the temperature regime (the device simply does not understand when and to what temperature it needs to heat the contents).
  • Breakage in the control module assembly (the “brain” section of the device does not know what to do).

Each of these faults explains why the washing machine cannot heat water, and the laundry cannot be washed.

Debugg

After identifying a malfunction, as a result of which the washing machine does not heat the water, it must be eliminated. This can be done as follows:

  • Clean or replace the water level sensor tube.
  • Replace or solder and insulate damaged wires.
  • Remove limescale from Tubular Heater by boiling it in water with citric acid.
  • Replace Tubular Heater with a new one.
  • Replace thermal sensor.
  • Replace or repair control module.

It is better to entrust the replacement of the control module to professionals, and in some cases just purchase a new device, since the replacement procedure can be more expensive.

If the water does not heat up in the washing machine, you need to find the cause of the equipment malfunction and try to eliminate it. In case of difficulties, it is better to contact a repairman. And if the washing machine is under warranty, then contacting the service center is mandatory without trying to fix the problem yourself.
